This is our new Mother-Son blog. I am Donna, (Mom), and Lucas is my 13 year old 7th grader. We both love to read and decided to create this blog to write about the books we enjoy. Lucas is very interested in science cannot wait to share his insights about the books he's reading and 7th grade.

A Christmas Carol

In honor of the holiday, we are reading
A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

 We will be going to the the play later this month. 
It's story most of us know from TV. 
This one is our family favorite.  Alastair Sim is an excellent Scrooge.





and let's not forget


This version was on tv last night.

For those who are interested in seeing both the musical (1970 Albert Finney version) and the classic with Alastair Sim,
both will be on, back to back,
on December 19th on TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES channel.

    I don't recall seeing your favorite version- so I will look for it on the 19th! I have read the book though! Hope you enjoy it!
